1984- JD Anderson hosts
1st Black Power Bull Sale
featuring crossbred bulls
with superior heterosis
1997 - High Seller in the Black Power Bull Sale, "Fear This" brings $18,500
2006 - V4 Land & Cattle began hosting an annual bull sale for the company in Logan, NM
September 2018 - PLG Multipliers begin participating in Total Herd Enrollment through the American Simmental Association to generate EPDs on the bulls in the program. Those values are then Genomically Enhanced through DNA collected at bull processing time.
1994 - JD Sold the Champion Prospect Heifer at the NWSS "She's Nice" for $10,000
1998 - JD and Jason Anderson merge Black Power Bulls with Power Genetics for the sale of bulls and purchase of feeder cattle
2008 - ABS Global purchases the bull marketing business from the Andersons and renames it Powerline Genetics
2000 - Power Genetics sells 2000 bulls.
July 2018 - JD and Jeff Stagemeyer purchase Powerline Genetics
2015 - PLG makes the transition to video auctions for the Nebraska sales
2000 - Power Genetics began PAP testing bulls to sell in the Western and Mountain regions.
2016 - After the completion of the Innovation Center at Anderson Livestock, it becomes the sale site for the Nebraska sales.
