Meyring Cows
1/10
The Meyring family has been ranching for several generations, but in 1999 they decided to relocate from Colorado to the NW corner of the Nebraska Sandhills. There they operate a SimAngus cowherd that is predominantly AI, a commercial feedlot, and row crop ground. Recently, they began investing in an embryo program to take their genetics to the next level.
Jay and Shauna met in college and both competed on the Intercollegic Livestock Judging team at Colorado State. They have three children Jayce, Jayda and Seth all of whom have a great passion for the livestock industry. They compete in 4-H and FFA in Livestock Judging, show hogs, cattle and goats at county, regional and state levels.
